The Easy Birthday Party Games – Parenthood

Celebrating birthdays and having mothers in charge of organizing everything is all the rage. From the decoration of the place, through the snack to the organization of games for the children to have fun during the party.

That is why today we are offering you a series of easy games so that you have ideas for preparing the birthday party.

Easy games for birthday parties

1. The game of musical chairs

   One of the easiest birthday party games that has been around for a long time is the musical chair game. It consists of placing chairs in a circle, the backrest towards the inside of the circle. You will need to place one chair less than the total number of children.

   Children should walk in a circle around the chairs while the music is playing. When this stops, they will have to quickly sit down on a chair. One of the children will be eliminated since he will not have a chair.

   Once a child has been eliminated, a chair is removed. This process will be repeated  until there is only one chair and two children left. The child who sits on the last chair wins the game.

2. The treasure hunt

   You will need to prepare this game in advance. The treasure  hunt will consist in finding the treasure chest thanks to a series of clues that you will write on pieces of paper that you will hide in several places.

   You must take into account the age of the children to work out the clues with varying  degrees of difficulty. Indeed, they must be able to easily find the next one. The treasure chest can hold candy or a small gift for each child depending on the option you choose.

3. Bag race

   Children love to be in constant motion. This is why sack racing will be one of the easiest games to play during a birthday party.

   You will need bags for the kids to get into. In teams or in pairs, depending on the number of children invited, they will have to follow a determined route by jumping into the bag.

   Once they have returned, they will pass the baton on to their comrade to do the same. The team or pair with the fastest time wins.

   

4. Egg race

   It is one of the favorite games of children because of the “danger” it represents. To play, you will need as many spoons as there are children and a few eggs.

   We advise you to cook the eggs before the birthday so that the children do not get stained. Let  them not know it,  it creates more emotion in them.

   In pairs or teams, one of the children should support the egg using only the spoon in the mouth. They will make a round trip and pass the egg to their comrade. If the egg falls on the way, they will have to start over.

5. The handkerchief game or the key of St. George

   It is one of the easiest games for a birthday party. You will only need a handkerchief. Have the children sit in a circle. One of them will be the keeper of the handkerchief  and will run around his comrades, who will be seated with their eyes closed, while he will sing the following song:

   “I carry, I carry, the key of Saint George,
   When I have carried it enough,
   I will drop it at the foot of a rock.
   Don’t look at the passing fox but watch it when it has passed ohé, sailors, look behind your back! “

   At this moment, the child guarding the handkerchief will throw it behind the back of one of his comrades. At the end of the song, the children will open their eyes. They will turn to see who received the handkerchief.

   The chosen child will have to get up and run after the guardian before he returns to his seat. If he succeeds, the keeper will remain the same. Otherwise, he will be the new guardian.

   

6. Piñata

   The  piñata is one of the funniest moments of a birthday party. You will only need to buy one and fill it with candy for the kids.

   You have to blindfold the birthday child so that he breaks the piñata  without seeing and all the children can enjoy the candies that will fall to the ground.
